looking for a wedding film with warmth, intimacy and character?
super 8 was popularized as a silent home movie format in the 60s and is still going strong today. each roll of film yields about 3 minutes of footage. the film is processed and scanned by a lab, turning it into a digital file that i edit into your wedding film. Since the camera does not capture audio, i separately record the sounds of your wedding day and weave them into the final film. Super 8’s GRAIN, LIGHT LEAKS, and SLIGHT IMPERFECTIONS all add to its charm, allowing the heart of your story to shine through.
Super 8 films are available as an add-on to my wedding photography packages at a reduced rate, or as a standalone film service. For larger weddings, a second photographer may be required when I am also providing photography, allowing me to give both the photography and film the attention they deserve.
